Thank you to all the parents and friends that joined us for "hit the mat night"!  We had a great turn out and hopefully the students enjoyed this opportunity to share karatedo with someone close to them.

Brewer Student Health Fair

Maine Traditional Karate was part of the Brewer High School Student Health Fair on Thursday.  The fair is presented by the Brewer High School Student Health Advisory Board and allows local organizations to present different health topics to the students.  Thanks to Brewer High School and the Student Health Advisory Board for allowing us to participate.

Tuite Seminar

Students from Orrington and Orland gathered on February 25th for a Tuite Seminar hosted by Sensei Steve Apsega and Sensei Stan Leach.  The 6-hour seminar focused on tuite warmups, the basics of joint locking, flow drills and kyu rank tuite sets.
